False eyelashes can completely transform your look and are a quick and easy way to go from a day to night makeup look. However, lashes can be expensive and slowly start to add up especially if you want to experiment with them so here is my quick guide on how to clean your lashes to get the most wear out of them as possible - without breaking or damaging them. 

Step 1 - 

Get a shot glass or something similar and soak your lashes in warm water. This will help soften the glue which is the hardest thing to get off your lashes. Leave them to soak for about 10/15 minuets. 

Step 2 - 

Soak a cotton pad with makeup remover to remove the excess mascara from the lashes. This will prevent any bacteria spreading which will save you from eye infections! 

Step 3 - 

Now that the glue has softened up, carefully use a pair of tweezers and pull of the excess glue. Be careful not to pull out any of the hairs as this will ruin your lashes.

Step 4 - 

Use a spooly to brush out your lashes to make them fluffy again.
